Rules of Online Skill Patti Empire

The online Skill Patti Empire game needs a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 players to form a table in the game. The card game starts when a table is formed and each player submits an initial bet amount, known as the boot, in the pot of that round, present in the middle of the table.

potThe boot is the entry amount or the minimum mandatory bet collected at the table before the cards for that round can be dealt. The sum of all players' boots and any other bets they make in that round is called the pot. The player with the best card sequence wins the game and gets the entire pot amount.

The number of bets a player can make in a game depends on the pot limit of the table. The pot limit of a table is the limit till which the players can keep placing bets into the pot, which also equal to the maximum buy-in of the table.

How The Skill Patti Empire Online Game Works

Once the boot amount is collected from all the players and the dealer has dealt them their cards, the game starts. The game starts from the player at the right hand of the Dealer (D) and proceeds in an anti-clockwise direction.

The players can then decide how they want to play and proceed further in the game: as a blind or seen player.

Blind Player

  • A blind player is a player who decides to play the game without seeing their cards. The bets that a blind player places are called blind bets.
  • If you are playing as a blind player, your bet will at least be equal to the current minimum bet at the table but not more than double the current minimum bet, and if you have the first turn at making the bet, your bet should at least be equal to the boot amount.
  • Now, if the previous player from you is also a blind player, then your bet will be the same as that player’s or more but not more than double that bet. If the previous player is a seen player, then your bet will be half of that player’s or more but not more than the same.
blind player

For example:

As a blind player, if the previous player is blind and has bet ₹1, then your minimum bet will be the same i.e. ₹1, and your maximum bet will be ₹1 x 2 = ₹2. And if the previous player is seen and has bet ₹1, then your minimum bet will be half of that i.e. ₹1 / 2 = ₹0.5, and your maximum bet will be the same i.e. ₹1.

seen player

Seen Player

  • A player that decides to open and see their cards, once they're dealt, to make their bets and play the game is a seen player.
  • While playing as a seen player, your bet should at least be double the current minimum bet amount but not more than double the current minimum bet. If you have the first turn to bet in the game, then as a seen player, your bet should at least be double the boot amount.
  • Now, if the previous player from you is a blind player, then your bet will be double of that player's or more but not more than 4 times that bet. If the previous player is also a seen player, then your bet will be the same as that player's or more but not more than double.

For example:

As a seen player, if the previous player is blind and has bet ₹1, then your minimum bet will be its double i.e. ₹1 x 2 = ₹2, and your maximum bet will be ₹1 x 4 = ₹4. And if the previous player is seen and has bet ₹1, then your minimum bet will be the same i.e. ₹1, and your maximum bet will be double i.e. ₹1 x 2 = ₹2.

Skill Patti Empire Rules for Bets

As per the original 3-card game Teen Patti rules, to remain in the game you have to make a bet, or pack your cards and leave the round with all your previous bets spent in the pot.

In the Skill Patti Empire game, you get 4 choices to play at every turn. You can choose to play Chaal, Raise, Sideshow or Pack.

chaal rules Chaal is when you want to play forward by putting the same bet amount as the current minimum bet in the pot.

If you are playing as a blind player, then the bet amount for your Chaal would be the same as the current bet at the table and if you are playing as a seen player, the bet amount for your Chaal would be double that of the current stake amount.

For example: If the current bet amount is ₹1 then Chaal for a blind player would be the same i.e. ₹1 and for a seen player, the Chaal would be double i.e. ₹1 x 2 = ₹2.

raise rules Raise is when you want to play forward by putting an increased bet on the current bet amount of the table into the pot. Once the bet is raised, it becomes the new minimum bet amount of the table.

If you are playing as a blind player, then you can raise your bet to not more than double the current bet and if you are playing as a seen player, then you can raise your bet to at most 4 times the current minimum bet of the table.

For example: If the current bet amount is ₹1 then as a blind player you can raise your bet at most double the current bet i.e. ₹1 x 2 = ₹2 and as a seen player, you can raise your bet at most 4 times the current bet i.e ₹1 x 4 = ₹4.

Sideshow is when you want to compare your cards with the previous player's cards.

A sideshow can only be requested if you are a seen player and the previous player from you is also a seen player. For a sideshow request to happen, there needs to be more than 2 players present on the table. If you decide to ask for a sideshow, then a request will be sent to the player before you. The players can accept or reject a sideshow request as per their choice.

If your request is rejected, then both players get to keep their cards to themselves and the turn passes on to the next player. If your request is accepted, then both players' cards are opened, only to each other's view, and compared.

If the previous player's cards are better than yours, then you will be forced to pack your cards and leave that round to just watch the game, losing all your previous bets in the pot. If your cards are better than the previous player's cards then they will have to pack their cards and leave the round to just watch the game. Once the sideshow is completed and one of you has packed, the turn will be passed on to the next player.

sideshow rules

pack rules Pack is when you no longer want to play that round but still be present at the table to watch the game or retry your hand later and decide to fold your cards.

You can choose to pack your cards whenever you want to. Players usually pack their cards when they believe they don't have a good hand, or their chances of winning are low or when they no longer have the current bet amount left in their table wallet and can bet no further.

Packing does not mean you are kicked out of the table but turned into watching the table and the other players playing the game. If you want to try your hand once again and re-join the game, you can do so by re-buying your way into the table.

In the case you do not have enough amount left with you in the game to fulfil the current required minimum bet amount, you can make 2 plays, either you choose to pack your cards and exit the round or go All-In and bet all of your remaining amount at once.

all-in rulesIf you choose All-In, you will no longer be able to bet and play the game but will still be present at the table with a chance of winning the round and the pot amount.

side pot rulesIf you win the round after going all-in, you will only win the pot amount that was collected with your last bet (all-in), creating a Side-Pot.

Side-Pot is the pot created when one or more players go all-in and there are still players left to make bets. The side-pot contains only the amount that was collected with the All-in player's last bet (the all-in bet). The rest of the bets made by the other players are collected in the main pot and if the all-in player wins the round, the difference between the main-pot and side-pot amount will be divided and distributed equally between the other players.

For example:

There are 3 players on the table, A, B and C, and the current minimum bet is ₹10 and the pot amount is ₹50.

  • Player A bets ₹10.
Player B plays 'Chaal' and bets the same, ₹10.
And Player C, having only ₹8 left, decides to go All-In.
  • The Pot amount now would be ₹78 (₹50+₹10+₹10+₹8) and it is the amount Player C will get if they win the round.
  • After Player C goes all-in, a side-pot is created containing the bets collected till Player C's last bet (all-in), while the rest of the bets Player A and Player B make will be collected in the Main Pot till a “Show” happens.
  • Then if Player A bets ₹10 and Player B raises the bet to ₹20, the main pot would contain ₹108 (₹78+₹10+₹20).
  • Now, in a Show:
    • If Player A or Player B win the game, they will win a total of ₹108 (main pot amount).
    • If Player C wins the game, they will only win ₹78 i.e. the side-pot amount, and Player A and Player B will win ₹15 each ([main pot amount - side-pot amount]/number of players left on the table i.e [₹108 - ₹78]/2).

showdown rules Show, also commonly known as a showdown, can happen only in 2 scenarios:

  • When one of the 2 active players left at the table i.e. the players that can and are currently making their bets, choose to have a showdown.

or

  • When the pot amount reaches the pot limit, it leads to an automatic showdown.

During a showdown, the cards of the players are compared and the player with the higher-ranking card sequence wins the pot.

A special feature of the win money online Skill Patti Empire game is that it provides its players with 1 extra card above their 3 personal cards to make the best hand.

This card is present at the centre of the table and opens for all players to see, once all players have seen their cards. This extra 1 card is for the common use of all players. Players can use it, if required, to make their best hand and win the round.

After a showdown happens and the pot amount is collected by the winner, the game ends. A new round immediately starts at the table; you can continue playing at the table if you want to or exit the table.

There is no limit to the number of rounds that occur at a table, the game will only end when you exit the table or no longer have any amount left to play with, in which case you can either re-buy your way into the table or exit the table and stop playing.
